Summary Explanation/Background:
The amendment is to accomplish three things. Add Broward County as they now wish to
participate in the grant and revise the award table with all the numbers to reflect their inclusion. Modify the subrecipient agreement based on guidance from the U.S. Department of Justice. We are also making the award amount more clear based on a recommendation by the U.S. Department of Justice.
Origin of request for this action: Finance
Fiscal impact and source of funding: Grant award to 18 jurisdictions in Broward County will be $515,879. The City’s allocation will be $111,952 to be used as follows. $60,364 towards homeless outreach and support and $51,588 toward costs associated with administering the award. There is no matching funds requirement.
