Summary Explanation/Background:
The Water and Reuse treatment plants has many individual pieces of chemical feed system equipment which, from time to time, require maintenance, repair, rehabilitation and replacement. The need for the proper function and maintenance of this equipment is crucial to operations at both plants and the City’s ability to maintain regulatory compliance and provide a high-quality treated water to our customers. Solicitation E-19-22 DESIGN MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF CHEMICAL FEED SYSTEMS was advertised. This solicitation yielded one responsive bidder, Odyssey Manufacturing Company. They have been performing these services for the City of Pompano Beach and other Utilities within the state of Florida for a number of years.
