Summary Explanation/Background:
The City will use this property for public parking for customers, employees and visitors of nearby businesses including restaurants and retail establishments.
There will be no permanent improvements to this site and the City’s contracted parking management company will enforce this area.
Staff believes that with this site the city would add an additional 200 parking spaces. Staff believes this additional parking capacity crucial to the ongoing development in and around the barrier island.
