Summary Explanation/Background:

The CRA received an application from Moore Trading LLC, Property Owner, for funding assistance through the Façade and Business Site Improvement Program (Program) for the property located at 2318 East Atlantic Boulevard. The Program provides financial assistance for eligible exterior and aesthetic improvements to existing commercial buildings.

The proposed improvements include minor demolition; widening of the front entrance and installation of an impact-resistant glass door; stabilization of the curved wall on the west side of the building; updates to the exterior building finish; installation of security cameras; exterior painting; and new signage for Minuteman Press, the proposed tenant of the building.

The total estimated cost of the proposed improvements is $37,800, of which $20,000 is eligible for reimbursement under the Program.
