This item requests you consider dual naming NW 3rd Street “LueRenna H. Holley Street.”
The back-up documentation in the agenda item provides justification for the dual naming in honor of Mrs. Holley’s contributions to the Pompano Beach Community. The dual naming of the street is bound by Powerline Road on the west and NW 21st Avenue on the east. The Historic Preservation Committee and the Pompano Beach Historical Society both reviewed and approved the application. If the City Commission decides to dual name NW 3rd Street, a resolution will be presented at a following meeting to formalize the change.
