This is a request to abandon the western 2 feet of a 12-foot utility easement by Applicant, George Balaban of Kimley Horn. This 2-feet of property will be dedicated to Broward County as right-of-way for NW 27 Avenue. Since the dedicated 2 feet of land is part of a utility easement, the County has requested that 2 feet of the easement be vacated prior to right of way dedication. The Planning and Zoning Board unanimously recommended approval at their public hearing on July 22, 2026 with one condition which has been met. Staff recommends approval.
