Summary Explanation/Background:
Staff is requesting to amend §152.13 of the Code of Ordinance, in order to omit the term Forty Year and align the text with the revised Broward County Administrative Policy #05-05 Building Safety Inspection Program which will now require inspections to be performed at 30 or 25-yr milestones and 10-yr intervals thereafter, dependent upon the building or structure’s 3-mile proximity limit to the coastline as defined by Florida Statute 376.031. No proposed economic impact to the City will be realized.
