Summary Explanation/Background:
On April 12, 2022, the City Commission rescinded Ordinance 2021-77 and authorized the execution of an Interlocal Agreement (Ordinance 2022-39) for the creation of the Metro Transportation Engineering & Construction Cooperative. This First Amendment would be an inclusion to the Interlocal Agreement and would eliminate the prohibition on a member of the MTECC Board serving simultaneously on the BMPO as previously described in Section 8.f. of the original agreement.
