Summary Explanation/Background:
The first amendment to the license agreement Ordinance 2016-60 is between the City and Offerdahl's Hand-Off Foundation, Inc. to conduct the Gridiron Grill-Off Food and Wine Festival, which is a celebrity competition and charity event for the purpose of supporting the foundation's mission to "Feed the Needs of Kids in Crisis". The amendments include financial support for 2017, 2018 and 2020, and modifying the event dates in 2020 from the typical November date to January as a means to kick-off the County wide events prior to Super Bowl 54, which is being hosted in Miami.

The City is authorizing the use of the premises for multi-day activities (including concerts), furnishing supplies, equipment, facilities, necessary personnel, cash contribution and marketing/advertising support for the Annual Gridiron Grill-Off Food and Wine Festival as shown in Exhibit 4 of the License Agreement. The first amendment to the License Agreement is for a term of five years, with the first event being held in November 2017.
