Summary Explanation/Background:
Ordinance 2017-27 approved by City Commission at the February 28, 2017 meeting, item 18 did not include the revision to section 32.49 “Emergency Procurement” of the Code of Ordinances to increase the emergency procurement threshold to $75,000.00 as requested in Purchasing Memo 16-089 which was included as backup for Ordinance 2017-27. Staff is requesting City Commission approval of this Ordinance to revise section 32.49 “Emergency Procurement” of the Code of Ordinances as intended in staff’s original request and as outlined in Administrative Policy 905.14 New Purchasing Thresholds issued as a result of Ordinance 2017-27.
