Summary Explanation/Background:
The City retained EDSA, Inc. to analyze and evaluate design alternatives for improvements to the intersection of Atlantic Boulevard and Dixie Highway. EDSA prepared a presentation (see Exhibit “A”). The presentation will introduce EDSA’s findings and recommendations. EDSA will be prepared to address questions and explain the pros and cons of different options. At the end of the presentation and discussion, staff will be seeking City Commission’s support for EDSA’s conceptual plans and authorization to procure professional services to work on final design plans and permitting.
