Summary Explanation/Background:
RLI P-32-18 was issued as Step 1 in a two-step solicitation process to create a short-list of firms considered most qualified to participate in Step 2 of the solicitation process. This process is to provide construction services to the City for Design/Build Services for Fire Stations, 52, 61 and 114. Final selection of one firm, or multiple firms will be based on pricing, design proposal, commitment to allocate specific personnel and various other factors, yet to be determined. This firm, or firms will be presented to the Commission for approval of the award for Step 2. The Selection/Evaluation Committee recommends the top three (3) ranked firms participate in Step 2: West Construction, Inc., Kaufman Lynn Construction, Inc., and DiPompeo Construction, Corp. The General Services Department conducted outreach to twenty-three (23) local Pompano Beach Construction firms to inform them of the solicitation. City Commission approval of the Selection/Evaluation Committee's ranking order, and short-list for Step 2 of the solicitation process, is requested.
