Request for Qualifications (RFQ) #E-16-18 was issued to select multiple firms to provide professional consulting services to the City for the planning and design of five bridges within City limits. The intent of this RFQ, through a competitive process pursuant to Florida Statutes, Chapter 287.055, Consultants Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA), is to select the most qualified firm based on ranking. City Commission approval of the ranking order presented by the Selection/Evaluation Committee is requested, and authorization is requested for appropriate City staff to negotiate contracts with the two highest-ranked firms as detailed above. Further authorization is requested to continue with the succeeding ranked firms should an impasse occur in the negotiations with the recommended firms. The General Services Department conducted outreach to seven (7) local Pompano Beach Engineering firms to inform them of the solicitation. Commission approval is requested.
