Summary Explanation/Background:
An Interlocal Agreement between the City of Lighthouse Point and the City of Pompano Beach was adopted in June 2018. The Agreement is for the joint operation and maintenance of Exchange Club Park located at NE 24th St and the Intracoastal Waterway. Exchange Club Park is owned by the Florida Inland Navigation District (F.I.N.D) and leased to the City. The City currently subleases portions of the park to the City of Lighthouse Point.
The City of Lighthouse Point has a canal dredging project planned for 2019. In order to stage and remove excess dredging soils, the City of Lighthouse Point will need to use Exchange Club Park as a staging site
