Summary Explanation/Background:
The license agreement is between the City and the School Board of Broward County to enter into a partnership allowing the city to make improvements on and utilize portions of land (Cross Creek School) owned by the School Board of Broward County for recreation purposes. The proposed project is in the GO Bond and will be a mutual benefit to both parties and will fill a great need in the community. The term of the agreement is for 25 years and has a renewal option of an additional 25 years if approved by both parties. The School Board of Broward County will approve the agreement at their April 9, 2019 board meeting.
