Summary Explanation/Background:
The Development Services Department is seeking approval for a resolution of the City Commission to enter into an Agreement with the Florida Humanities Council Community Project Grant (Grant No. 1218 4591 2520). The City has received a Small Matching Community Project Grant in the amount of $5,000 and will provide a $5,000 match from the FY 19 P&Z Division Budget. This Agreement is for the execution of the 2018/19 Florida Humanities Council Community Project Grant regarding the Pompano Beach Timeline Display (see attached description). Funding from the grant will be used for the development of The Pompano Beach Historic Timeline Display to promote and maintain this City’s rich history.
