Summary Explanation/Background:
Staff is seeking approval of a contract between the City of Pompano Beach (“City”) and Big Span Structures, LLC. (“Big Span”) in the sum of $3,497,974.12 to provide turnkey services for the G. O. Bond funded project “Amphitheater Renovations” (see Location Map). This project was duly advertised as RFP P-04-19 AMP Seating Coverage Addition and Big Span submitted a proposal that was recommended by a review panel. Attached is a copy of the contract documents including the proposed Scope of Work (Exhibit “A”) submitted by the firm and reviewed by staff for accuracy and completeness.
