Summary Explanation/Background:
As a member of the Broward League of Cities, the City Commission of Pompano Beach is required to make appointments to the Broward League of Cities Board of Directors as per the By-Laws of the League. The attached Memorandum from the Broward League of Cities was sent out to all the Cities on March 20, 2019, requesting our selection for the term to commence on May 18, 2019 and end in May 2020. Currently, our Director is Commissioner Rhonda Eaton, the Alternate is Commissioner Tom McMahon, and Second Alternate is Commissioner Andrea McGee.
