Summary Explanation/Background:

The ordinances were advertised in the Sun Sentinel.  The service contracts are for DRC Emergency Services, LLC and Piccadilly Holdings Restaurants LLC to provide post disaster emergency catering services per RFP E-09-18. The term of the contracts is for five years or less.  The City Manager will choose the contract to activate depending on the severity of the catastrophe.  If the City determines the contractors to be in full compliance with their agreements, the agreements may be renewed for an additional two five-year terms upon City Commission approval.  The cost of this agreement will be based off per meal served and this service is in alignment with FEMA reimbursement guidelines.

Fiscal impact and source of funding:  General Fund (disaster reserves). Services to be provided on a stand-by basis per agreement rates. This service is in alignment with FEMA reimbursement guidelines.
