Summary Explanation/Background:
Staff is seeking approval of a contract between the City of Pompano Beach (“City”) and DiPompeo Construction Corporation (“DPC”) in the sum of $5,750,000.00 to provide design build services for the G. O. Bond funded project “New SW Fire Station” (a.k.a. Fire Station #114) (see Location Map). This project was duly advertised as Bid P-32-18 Construction of Fire Stations 52, 61, 114 and DPC was selected by a panel a reviewers to provide the aforementioned services for this station. Attached is a copy of the contract documents including the proposed Scope of Work (Exhibit “A”) submitted by the firm and reviewed by staff for accuracy and completeness.
