summary

Summary Explanation/Background:

A Resolution for the City to amend the Revocable License Agreement with Fairfield Development LP for use of a portion of Community Park for temporary construction staging, a construction trailer, site logistics and parking, and to use the air space above a portion of Community Park for the swing of two construction tower cranes. The amendment is to make a very minor revision to the crane swing exhibit and to correct the licensee’s general partner name. No other changes to the Agreement or associated revenue is proposed. The license agreement is necessary for the construction of the Fairfield mixed-use/apartment project until the earlier of (i) the completion of the project or (ii) December 31, 2020 and may be extended for up to twelve months. The project is located at 601 N Federal Highway, abutting Community Park, and was approved on June 6, 2018 by the Planning & Zoning Board for 327 units and 6,065 square feet of nonresidential use. The City Commission approved the original Revocable License Agreement on March 6, 2019.
