Request for Proposals (RFP) E-13-19 was issued to establish a contract with a qualified firm to furnish, operate, and maintain an ice vending machine in Alsdorf Park. City Commission approval of the ranking order presented by the Selection/Evaluation Committee is requested, and authorization is requested for appropriate City staff to negotiate a contract with the highest ranked firm, Kool Water & Ice PB, LLC. Additional authorization is requested to enter into a contract with succeeding firm if an impasse in negotiation occurs between the City and the top ranked firm. The General Services Department contacted three (3) local vending companies to inform them about this project. This solicitation was assigned a 10% Local Business participation goal; the recommended bidder has committed to meeting that goal. Commission approval is requested.
