Summary Explanation/Background:
The Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) approved the draft Commitment 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) Cost Feasible Plan on May 9, 2019. Several Pompano Beach projects have been identified as significant and thus are currently ranked projects in this approved draft 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan Cost Feasible Plan (see Exhibit A of the Resolution). A resolution from the Pompano Beach City Commission stating support for the projects is required for the projects to be included in the final 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan and therefore Staff is recommending approval of the attached Resolution.
