Summary Explanation/Background:
An existing traffic control device maintained by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is currently encroaching a public sidewalk located at the southwest intersection of A1A and NE 14th St. This is a safety issue and requires relocation. There is narrow strip of land owned by City (approx. 10’ x 400’) adjacent to NE 14th St. that is suitable for this relocation. As such, FDOT has requested City to grant them an easement to have this traffic control device relocated. Please find attached easement agreement to be executed between City and FDOT.
