Summary Explanation/Background:

The existing administration building is in need of modernization and upgrades that will  include renovations to the office layout. Plans include but are not limited to; a secure outer lobby, handicap compliant restrooms, hurricane impact resistant windows to replace the existing jalousie windows, and an additional emergency exit. Funds are committed in fiscal year 2017 as outlined in the Capital Improvement Plan, Project 17-310.

Fiscal impact and source of funding: Fiscal impact and source of funding: The total estimated cost of the Project is $950,000 . This amount is based upon the estimate summarized in Exhibit "B".  The FDOT agrees to a maximum participation, including contingencies, in the Project in the amount of $760,000 (80% of the project estimated cost as detailed in Exhibit "B).  The Airpark will pay the remaining 20% ($190,000) of the estimated project cost. This project 17-310 Airpark Administration Building Renovations is part of the five year revenue and appropriation summary listed on pages 74, and 78 in the City of Pompano Beach Adopted Capital Improvement Plan 2017 - 2021.  The funds are allocated for construction in fiscal year 2017 in CIP 17-310, account 465-7588-542.65-12.
