summary

Summary Explanation/Background:

The City of Pompano Beach (City) and the City of Lighthouse Point (LHP) have had an interlocal agreement since 1997 (amended in 2007) to provide for the distribution of reuse water for irrigation of LHP medians along Federal Highway.  Pompano Beach also provides drinking water within its service area to LHP through a 2002 franchise agreement. On March 14th 2017 the City Commission approved entering into an agreement for the City to provide Reuse water to current water customers in Lighthouse Point. This survey is necessary to start the design of the next phases of reuse system in Lighthouse Point.
