The Broward Reads campaign is a collaborative initiative between community stakeholders including The School Board of Broward County, Broward County, Children's Services Council of Broward County and United Way of Broward County among many other community partners. The Broward Reads campaign is focusing on making grade level reading a priority within communities throughout all of Broward County.
Origin of request for this action: Broward School Board Member, Nora Rupert, requested Pompano Beach support Literacy by creating a resolution as other Broward cities have done.
