Summary Explanation/Background:

Staff is seeking City Commission approval of a Resolution to execute a Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement (MMOA) with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). The agreement is necessary to carry out aesthetic improvements to the Atlantic Boulevard Bridge including, but not limited to, upgrades to the bridge tender house, new tension sails at each end of the bridge, replacement of an existing concrete barrier with a new Wyoming barrier, installation of new light fixtures, etc. Staff recommends approval.

 

Origin of request for this action: CIP - Engineering

Fiscal impact and source of funding: $41,150.00 from budgeted funds in account 001-9910-599.99-20, Working Capital Reserve (to be reimbursed by Pompano Beach CRA subject to CRA Board Approval).
