summary

Summary Explanation/Background:

This work authorization consists of construction phase services based on the design completed under RLI E-61-14 via resolution 2015-156 (attached herein) approved by commission on January 27, 2015. Specifically, construction phase services will include inspections and shop drawing/submittal review for the relocation and construction of taxiway Delta full length for runway 15-33 and add taxiway Sierra and Taxiway Tango connectors to Taxiway Delta from runway 15-33.
The design modifications were required per the Airport Master Plan Update completed in 2007 in order to meet FAA Category B-II design standards. Field inspections will also be conducted to ensure code and contract compliance performed by the Engineer-of-Record to certify the project at completion.
