At the July 25, 2017 Commission Meeting, during audience to be heard session, State Senator Perry Thurston requested the dual naming of NW 16th Street and “Runette L. Williams Street” in her honor. The City Commission approved the request and this resolution formalizes the dual naming of NW 16th Street. The attached memo explains the accomplishments of Mrs. Williams in the Pompano Beach community.
