Summary Explanation/Background:
This license agreement is between the City and Rotary Club of Pompano Beach - Lighthouse, Inc. to host a Pet Rescue and Adoption Event on October 15, on Field 2 at the Four Fields Complex located in Community Park. This event is a community event to raise awareness and funds to support the efforts of local pet rescue organizations in Broward, Dade and Palm Beach Counties. The agreement authorizes the City to provide $696 in in-kind services and the licensee will pay the city $1,903.50 for Personal Charges for Parks and Recreation, Public works, Fire and BSO services (Exhibit E). The event will include a combination of booths, stage, music, dance area, food vendors, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages in a fenced-in, single entrance location as depicted in Exhibit A.

Fiscal impact and source of funding: City will waive $396 in facility rental fees and $300 in Showmobile rental fees (Exhibit E).
