Summary Explanation/Background:
The FAA offered the City a grant agreement to fund 90% ($373,167) of the total cost to update the Airport Master Plan. Previously the City Commission executed a Joint Participation Agreement with FDOT via resolution 2017-40 which commits FDOT to their required cost share of $17,500. The balance of the total cost is $19,817 to be provided by the City. FAA requested the City provide authority to execute the grant no later than August 25, 2017 which has been accomplished. This resolution is presented now for the City Commission to ratify and approve the acceptance of the grant.
