Staff is requesting approval to enter into an agreement with the artist commissioned to design proposed façade improvements to the Atlantic Boulevard Bridge. The artist is responsible for designing the graphics, a theme that resembles the design used for the mural at the Pier Garage. The artist’s services were included in the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract entered into with Burkhardt Construction, Inc. funded by the Community Redevelopment Agency. Therefore Staff isn’t seeking additional funding. Staff recommends approval.
