Summary Explanation/Background:
This is a companion item to an abandonment of portions of NW 12th Avenue, adjacent to 1751 NW 12 Avenue. It was conditioned by the Planning & Zoning Board that the abandonment only be approved upon retaining a public access easement to provide adequate turn-around capacity for fire trucks and cars that traverse the area. The Planning & Zoning Board unanimously recommended approval of the abandonment at the April 25th Meeting, subject to the retention of the public access easement. The ordinance for the abandonment was approved on first reading of the ordinance by the City Commission at the July 10th, 2018 Meeting. This Resolution includes an executed Public Access Easement by the recipients of the right-of-way abandonment.
