On July 20, 2018 bids were opened for Old Pompano Library demolition services. The lowest bidder was Camino Real Group, Inc. (local Pompano Beach Company) in the amount of $134,795.00.
The references supplied by Camino Real Group, Inc. were checked which produced favorable results and recommendation was made to the Purchasing Department to award contract to Camino Real Group, Inc.
Resolution No. 2018-241 grants City Manager authority during the City Commission’s August hiatus subject to ratification thereafter.
As such, please find attached, executed Contract between City and Camino Real Group, Inc. in the amount of $134,795.00 to demolish Old Pompano Library (1213 East Atlantic Boulevard) for the purpose of the site being designated as surplus.
