On July 20, 2018 bids were opened for Elk’s Lodge demolition services. The lowest bidder was Paragon Construction in the amount of $175,495.00.
The references supplied by Paragon Construction were checked which produced favorable results and recommendation was made to the Purchasing Department to award this contract to Paragon Construction.
Resolution No. 2018-241 grants City Manager authority during the City Commission’s August hiatus subject to ratification thereafter.
As such, please find attached, executed Contract between City and Paragon Construction in the amount of $175,495.00 to demolish Elk’s Lodge (700 NE 10th St.) for the purpose of having a clean site for the Youth’s Sport’s Complex that will be constructed at this location in the future as part of the GO Bond.
