Summary Explanation/Background:
Broward County entered into a ten (10) year lease agreement with the City, approved with Ordinance 2013-58, for the property located at 2011 NW 3rd Avenue for the County to operate a multipurpose and social and health service delivery center known as the Annie B. Weaver Health and Family Success Center (Center). Article seven (7) of the lease agreement requires the County to obtain the City's consent when transferring all or any portion of the demised premises via (a) an assignment of lease; (b) a sublease, license agreement; or (c) other agreement permitting all or any portion of the demised premises to be used by others.

The City has received a request from the County to consent to the execution of a Revocable License Agreement (RLA) between Broward County and Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, Inc. (Early Learning Coalition). The RLA will allow the Early Learning Coalition to provide support and assistance to families for re-determining eligibility for child care subsidies (services). Service delivery will include face-to-face support and assistance with submission of applications and supporting documentation for re-determination of eligibility for child care subsidies. One (1) cubicle will be assigned by the Regional Manager of the Center for use by Early Learning Coalition staff. Services will be provided Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
