Summary Explanation/Background:
In honor of the lasting and extraordinary contributions made by Lamar Fisher and his family to the City of Pompano Beach through his 17 years of service; and his family’s steadfastness in their support of numerous issues contributing to the success of the City and the quality of life for its residents including the new Pier. This item was postponed from the May 14th City Commission meeting pending additional information from staff governing the impact of this action on potential corporate sponsorship opportunities for the pier. Please refer to the attached memorandum for additional information, which is being provided in this respect.
