summary

Summary Explanation/Background:

Staff is seeking City Commission approval of an Ordinance to execute a parking lease agreement with DiVito Enterprises Limited Partnership (DiVito). This agreement will allow the City to extend an expired parking agreement for an additional five (5) years. The agreement will allow the City to use 17 parking spaces owned by DiVito in the Harbor Village Subdivision (see Location Map). DiVito will continue to have access to three (3) dedicated spaces for his tenants. The parking is necessary to support the growth and operation of various merchants in Harbor Village and it is part of a City-wide program to provide sufficient parking capacity at strategic locations.
