Summary Explanation/Background:
In the past two years, we have experienced significant costs that were not part of the last rate increase. In order to comply with ordinances, we must recover the cost of operating the Utilities. Below is a summary of the drivers for the increases and how we measure up to other local and regional Utilities. Raftelis Financial Consultant, Inc., has conducted a rate study and reviewed the City’s water, reuse and wastewater rates and charges for Fiscal years 2020 through 2024.
