Summary Explanation/Background:
Elements of this agenda item was originally placed by the City Commission into the City’s Strategic Plan, (See Crime Reduction Action Plan Attached) then endorsed in Dr. Wilhelmena Mack’s District 4 Report, and most recently recommended by the Economic Development Council’s Public Safety Committee.
This action will provide 1-F.T. Sergeant, 2-F.T. Deputies, who will comprise the new BSO CORE Team beginning January 18 - September 30, 2020. October 1, 2020 we will include this operation in our new BSO contract.
