Summary Explanation/Background:
his interlocal agreement with Broward County and the City of Pompano Beach is to supply each other with potable water if necessary during natural disasters, contamination or any other emergency situation. The City of Pompano Beach will share 50% of all costs with Broward County to reconstruct the existing interconnect at 2517 NE 22nd Avenue in Lighthouse Point. Broward County will be invoiced for its portion upon completion of the project. Any future repair and maintenance costs will also be shared 50% by each party.
