Summary Explanation/Background:
The license agreement with the McDougle Family Foundation, Inc. is for the utilization of North Pompano Park and other municipal parks to provide an athletic college preparatory program. The agreement shall be for a term of one year commencing upon execution of both parties. If the city determines the licensee to be in full compliance, shall have the option to renew the agreement for an additional two periods of one year upon written consent of both parties. On a quarterly basis the licensee shall pay the City 10% of every non-resident participation cost. Payment will be due within thirty (30) days of the end of the quarter and shall include a monthly report showing a list of participants registered in the program including their residency status. Licensee shall ensure that a minimum of fifty-one (51) percent of the program participants will be residents of the City of Pompano Beach. The Licensee will adhere to the additional COVID procedures as outlined in Exhibit A and all participants, coaches, instructors, etc. will sign the City’s Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability Form as show in Exhibit E.
