summary

Summary Explanation/Background:

Staff would like to covert several properties owned by the Community Redevelopment Agency Pompano Beach (CRA) into a transit hub to relieve parking congestion for businesses and properties located along the beach. The City has received a grant from the US Federal Department of Transportation that will assist in funding park and ride operations in the City.  Staff is requesting that Baxter & Woodman, Inc. (CONSULTANT) provide engineering design, and surveying services for the improvements.  Redevelopment Management Associates (RMA) will act as overall project manager on behalf of the CITY, coordinating efforts between the CRA, CITY, and CONSULTANT.

The services rendered pursuant to this Work Authorization No. WA 13 are in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Agreement for Professional Services between the City of Pompano Beach and Baxter & Woodman, Inc. originally dated November 2, 2015 and approved by City Ordinance No. 2016-16, with the Agreement dated December 20, 2016 and approved by City Ordinance No. 2017-11.
