Summary Explanation/Background:
The City of Pompano Beach and Broward County have entered into an interlocal agreement to provide a community shuttle service which consist of four different community shuttle routes, free of charge to the residents. Routes, schedules and maps are described in the "Exhibit A" of this Interlocal Agreement (ILA). The shuttle service is provided by a third-party Limousine of South Florida Inc. (LSF). The latest agreement between the City and LSF was executed on June 23, 2020 via Ordinance No. 2020-63.
This is the first amendment to the ILA adopted on September 24, 2019 via Ordinance No. 2019-111. This amendment is modifying Exhibit "F" Annual Funding for FY 2021 of the ILA at the rate of $57.50 per hour.
Funding for this service is provided through the County's surtax receipts.
Funding shall be used by City solely for the purpose of providing Community Shuttle Service and for maintaining, operating, and properly equipping the Vehicle(s) (funding may be used for no other purpose).
