summary

Summary Explanation/Background:

This item is a resolution for a License agreement between the City of Pompano Beach and Hansa and Girish Patel. The property is located adjacent to Southeast 2nd Street on Briny Avenue in Pompano Beach, Broward County Appraiser Folio 4943 06 06 0380.

The City intends to charge a parking fee to the public for the parking spaces contained within this lot consisting of approximately 43 parking spaces. The City will allow up to 10 parking spaces for the employees of the Hilton Hotel in the Fishing Village, which is anticipated to open its doors in late June 2021.

For this consideration the City agrees to pay Hansa and Girish a 50/50 revenue split of all net revenues generated monthly.

The City will enforce this lot with our current Parking Management Company, One Parking.
There will be no permanent improvements to this lot and payments from the parking public will be accomplished by our two parking applications, Pay By Phone and Passport Parking. The appropriate number of clearly visible signs will be posted at the entrance of this lot directing parkers to these parking applications.
