Summary Explanation/Background:
This is the first amendment to the license agreement with The McDougle Family Foundation, Inc., which extends the original agreement adopted via Resolution 2020-238 for an additional one-year period, ending September 10, 2022. The license agreement with the McDougle Family Foundation, Inc. is for the utilization of North Pompano Park and other municipal parks to provide an athletic college preparatory program. On a quarterly basis the licensee shall pay the City 10% of every non-resident participation cost. Payment will be due within thirty (30) days of the end of the quarter and shall include a monthly report showing a list of participants registered in the program including their residency status. Licensee shall ensure that a minimum of fifty-one (51) percent of the program participants will be residents of the City of Pompano Beach.
