Summary Explanation/Background:
The City of Pompano Beach was awarded a matching grant from the Broward County Board of County Commissioners through its Cultural Division in the amount of $13,500.00 for Program Support for Fiscal Year 2022.
In accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement between City and Broward County, approval of this Resolution will provide additional funding in the amount of $13,500.00 that will be placed in a special account line in the Cultural Affairs Department approved Fiscal Year 2022 budget earmarked for artists and marketing/production fees as proposed in the grant application submitted by the City and allow funds to be drawn down from Broward County for this purpose.
