Summary Explanation/Background:

The agent Mike Vonder Meulen of Keith, Inc. is representing the owner of the property, Beach Villa 900 Ocean Boulevard Condominium, Inc. and The Related Group, who is the Applicant. They are requesting a plat approval for the subject property located along the east side of Highway A1A, North of NE 8th Court and South of NE 10th Street. The site area includes 2.686 acres and contains the Beach Villa Condominiums that have 49 folio parcels. The proposed plat includes the development of a 21-story mixed use building and will be restricted to a maximum of 119 residential units and 2,220 square feet of retail/commercial space. The Site Plan for this project was approved at the July 28th Planning and Zoning hearing. The Review standards in Part 7 (Lots) of Article 5 in the Code have been met. This proposed plat was unanimously recommended for approval at the July 28, 2021 P&Z meeting, with five conditions required prior to City Commission placement (see attached Minutes and P&Z Memo 21-029). The five conditions have been met.
