Summary Explanation/Background:

The resolution is to execute a lease agreement for the property at Hillsboro Inlet Park for the Lighthouse Museum and Visitors Center.  The hours of operation will be Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Lessee will be responsible to pay all operating costs incurred as a result of the lessee’s business operation on the premises, which are not by this lease an expense of the City, including, but not limited to all municipal, county and state advalorem and non-advalorem tax. Lessee shall be responsible for paying for electricity and telephone expenses for the premises.  The lessee shall at its sole expense keep and maintain the premises in the same state of repair and condition as existed on the date of commencement of this lease.  The annual rent for the premise shall be one dollar ($1.00) plus any applicable tax.    The agreement will be for a period of five years commencing on November 27, 2021.
